Propeller Spinner Cone
This Propeller Spinner Cone is made from a decommissioned British Aerospace (BAe) ATP (Advanced Turbo Prop) aircraft.
The aircraft was one of the first airliners of the time to introduce these spinners that make the aircraft's engine intake more streamlined. This drastically reduces the drag and also reduces the noise of these engines. Saving the airlines's fuel costs and allowing them to operate from many more airports.
Only 65 of these aircrafts were ever built but many are still in service today.
