Description

The Piper Navajo Hartzell Propeller Blade Sculpture is made from an original decommissioned Hartzell Propeller Blade used on a Piper PA-31 Navajo. Hartzell is an american based company making all sorts of propeller blades starting in the 1920's . The company began making metal propellers in 1933 to help the war effort.  The propeller has been cleaned, polished and sunk into a thick piece of oak at the base. The propeller was bent after an accident on a Spanish Runway.
